IBM has announced a new version of its free design suite, Free Design Suite 4, which is compatible with Macs and Linux machines.
The new software, which IBM says can be used on both Windows and Macs, was announced today in a blog post.
The IBM free design tools are a collaboration between IBM’s Watson and IBM Research, the company’s research and development arm.
The announcement of the new free design Suite comes after IBM announced a partnership with a major consulting firm to bring Free Design to more than 150 universities and institutions around the world.
Free Design will allow users to create designs on a range of platforms and platforms will include iOS, Android, Windows, Mac, iOS, Mac OS X, Linux, Windows Phone, Android phones, and Android tablets.
Users will be able to use the suite on desktop and on mobile devices, with the latter two platforms being fully supported.
It will be available in the IBM AppStore and in the online IBM Cloud.
The suite is part of IBM’s effort to attract more and more developers to its cloud-based computing platform, Free View in iTunes
