With Apple introducing the GIS SDK today, users of its software have been given an opportunity to try out the new software update.
The latest GIS update is available to download from the Apple Support site.
The release comes in a new version of the software, which is a bit more user-friendly than before.
Users can now search the ‘Search for GIS’ tab of the ‘About’ page to find the latest version of GIS and install it on their Macs, PCs, or tablets.
Users also have the option of downloading a single file from Apple’s GIS server, which contains all the Gis tools they need to build their own GIS projects.
For example, users can now build a GIS mapping using the GFS2.0 toolkit, which comes with all the tools and data needed to build a full-fledged mapping application.
Users have also been given the option to use the new ‘GIS Cloud’, which allows them to upload their own geospatial data, and then share it with Apple’s cloud-based service.
