The 2017 NFL season kicks off with a matchup between the Seattle Seahawks and Denver Broncos, but this year will be a little different.
The Seattle Seahawks will be playing their first home game of the season against the New England Patriots on Thursday, Oct. 28 at 7:30 p.m.
PT, which is a little after kickoff.
The game will be televised on FOX Sports 1 and ESPN.
The Broncos will also be in town, having been away for a little more than a week after hosting the Dallas Cowboys.
This will be the second consecutive season that the Seahawks and Broncos have met at CenturyLink Field.
In 2012, the Seahawks beat the Broncos 27-16.
In 2016, the Broncos defeated the Seahawks 24-23.
The Patriots will be looking to bounce back after being knocked out of the playoffs by the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 1.
They’ve lost two straight games to Seattle, and are coming off a 27-20 defeat at home against the Indianapolis Colts.
The Patriots have a two-game winning streak in the rivalry.
